This artwork is inspired by Greek folk art. The folkloric figure has folk costume with other elements such as shapes around him. This work has been worked on porcelain, which has been coloured with acrylic paints and mixed media. This technique is my own inspiration, the moulded 3D porcelain on canvas and its painted coating. This work is part of a collection of folk artworks that I have made and present here. My inspiration for art goes beyond nature and the general context of our society, it takes a journey to the past and to the Greek culture. This artwork explores themes of quality.
